THE PURSUIT

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Ron & Katy last week on our charter from 1/22/21-1/26/21. We don’t do great on boats and we didn’t know what to expect being our first time spending days on a boat but it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Delana Mae was absolutely beautiful. Ron and Katy made our experience very special. They are both such beautiful, kind, and sweet people. They made us feel very comfortable, taken care of, and were very attentive. They make the perfect team. We learned a lot of interesting facts about the history of the islands, sailing, different fishes, and what it’s like to live on a boat. Katy’s meals were all very delicious with beautiful presentation. They were both very nice when asked for anything even to take pictures of our group. They went above and beyond to make our experience the best possible and they achieved that. They became part of our group and we had a great time getting to know them and about their experiences. We hope to have the pleasure of seeing them again in the future and visit new islands with them.

"Our crew on The Pursuit went above and beyond all of our expectations during our week with them. We sailed from St Thomas to St John, stopping In various bays. They made sure not only to accommodate us but also our friends who were on other charters. They tirelessly organized group activities for our whole group of 27 people!!! They had one concern, which was that we had the time of our lives. WE DID!!! From the moment we set sail the crew dedicated all of their time to make sure we were treated like rockstars. The food, drinks and accommodations were 5 star. Captain Ron, Katy and Melissa are top-notch!"

Your true love of life, each other, marine life, sharing & entertaining shines through in every single thing you do onboard! We loved laughing, learning, loving, eating, and celebrating together and with you!
Ron: Thank you for keeping us safe, thank you for your patience in teaching us about all the toys, thank you for your encouragement, thank you for letting us beat you at CATAN (re-match next time!) Your "easy way" and laugh are infectious!
Katy: You are the hostess with the mostess! And you are a 1st Mate and mixologist extraordinaire! Thank you for presenting us with beautiful cocktail hours...and all with a smile! Your knowledge of marine science, ecology, and the environment are astounding! Thank you for keeping our "home" for the week in perfect order! Your loving and happy nature is so special!
Mel: There are absolutely no words for the unbelievable food and stunning, creative presentations that you put together! WE licked our plates clean! We appreciate your dedication to reviewing all of our allergies, preferences, and desires, and making sure to take the best care of each and every one of us! You are beyond talented! And your sweet and kind way is a pleasure to be around!

We leave paradise today to head into the bitter cold with very warm hearts! We can't wait to come back again!

Family is not just blood. It was never meant to be just that. It is sharing love, caring for others, putting others before yourself, sharing meals and memories- its the Pursuit crew! You guys opened your boat and your hearts to everyone who came onboard. Thank you again for everything.

Thank you doesn't seem enough for the amazing experience you guys gave us on our vacation. It has been truly a lifetime experience. We will always remember Rons laugh, Katies excellent service, and Mels fantastic cooking. We feel very blessed to have been on this vacation and very grateful this crew was apart of it. Parting is such a sweet sorrow but we are confident our paths with cross again. You all will forever be apart of our Ohana. Thank you again for spoiling us.
